Indiana Jones -style bicycling

I don't know where this photo was taken - probably in Florida or Louisiana. If a car comes along, are you going to take your chances with the car, or will you move over to the shoulder?? Pick your poison!

    I have rode past snakes and been freaked out. I could not imagine some bigger reptiles.

    That is terrifying. Luckily for me, I mostly ride a bike that folds. So I would flag down the vehicle and jump in.
